In the face of adversity, it is often unavoidable for someone in a family to make a sacrifice and it becomes difficult if there is only one support system in a home. The story of Tessa is about a mother who was a former OFW in America who experienced cruelty and abuse by her boss, in addition to the endless sadness brought by distance from her two children, who were left with his elderly mother in the Philippines. The film will show a portion of the trauma's impact based on her experience abroad and the death of her daughter, Tessa. The story also wants to convey how the life of a person experiencing mental illness is affected. And lastly, it will show us that love isn't one-way.
